No relation between the two Cappuccino manga far as I can tell, beyond having the same creator.

Akita Shoten [First serialized in Petit Princess]
Published in Indonesia as Cappuccino Love Potion and Love in Cafe Cappuccino 1 by Gramedia/m&c!
m&c! launches three new Petit Princess manga—three, if we count Yoshida Ikaru's Samurai Darling Masamune, reportedly pushed back from its 11 August premiere—two of them from the same manga-ka Kotokawa Aya. Both office romances. The first is the one-volume, mature audiences only Cappuccino Love Potion and the second, the eight volumes, ongoing Love in Cafe Cappuccino.
The Cappuccino Love Potion Dewasa read first:
Her mother's illness forces Michika to take over as manager of Narumiya Izumi, an actor acclaimed for his antagonist roles in violent films. Nervous beyond belief, Michika wishes she had gotten popular, pretty boy actor Kijima Reiji to babysit instead. But do the two actors live up to their stereotypes? Or is Michika confusing fiction with reality?
Hmm. The Manager × Actor premise reminds me of Yoshihara Yuki's Chocolate Girl, tempting me...much. I don't know if the bishie on the left-hand side cover [above] is supposed to be the infamous Narumiya Izumi, but those megane! make me wish he were, and that he's as “charming” as Chocolate Girl's Tsundere, Actually Tezuka Riku. (I also hope nabs-all-the-Good-Guy-roles Kijima Reiji is as comely and as conniving as Choco Girl's Akae Kaoru.)
Cappuccino Love Potion, originally Biyaku iri no Cappuccino, first ran in the shoujo-josei straddler PetitPuri, but for reasons yet to be uncovered, m&c! upped its age rating to D - Dewasa, or for an over 18 audience.
That takes care of the first Kotokawa Aya debut. Now for the second—
Love in Cafe Cappuccino vol 1 (of 8+)
By Kotokawa Aya
Legend has it that if you visit a certain café in Minami Aoyama Kottou street, you will meet your soul mate. What does this urban myth have to do with Yoshida and her boss Shioya? Well, the director orders Yoshida to upgrade the notorious genius chief into a New and Improved version, but Yoshida falls for pre-makeover Shioya, messy hair, rudeness and all.
Obviously, Yoshida took Shioya or met him at that café in Minami Aoyama, which stands silent, if not quietly laughing, over another mission (about to be) accomplished.
Love in Cafe Cappuccino or Cafe Minamiaoyama Curio Street serializes in the same mangazine Cappuccino Love Potion did. Akita Shoten published the first tank in August 2008, the latest (eighth) in March 2012. Love in Cafe Cappuccino volume 1, however, is rated R - Remaja, or Teens.
Pretty sure Cappuccino Love Potion and Love in Cafe Cappuccino represent the first Kotokawa Aya manga incursion into Indonesia. Besides the caffeinated vanguards, Kotokawa Aya-sensei produced the genie-troped shoujo fantasy Lample for Shinshokan's Wings (tankou released October 2002). [Read more...]
